The other day, we showed developers how to install macOS 10.15 Catalina Developer Beta 1 onto a Parallels Desktop virtual machine.At the same time, we offered a few cautions about doing so — the beta operating system runs slowly on Parallels at this point and there are some other issues. The all-new macOS Catalina 10.15.6 Developer Beta version is available to all members of Apple Developer Program and the macOS Catalina 10.15.6 Public Beta version is also available to all general public users through Apple Beta Software Program. Version-wise, MacOS Catalina is a version number behind the beta releases of iOS 13, iPadOS 13, tvOS 13, and watchOS 6, each of which are on beta 7. Apple has said the final version of MacOS Catalina will be available in the fall of 2019.

Apple today has released the fifth developer beta of macOS Catalina. This comes as Apple earlier this week released the fifth developer betas of watchOS 6, iPadOS 13, iOS 13, and tvOS 13.
